Happy Motivation Monday ! âď¸
You know those days when you think itâs finally springâŚ
The sun is shining, the air feels a little softerâŚ
You open the windows, maybe go for a walk, and you thinkâ
âOkay⌠we made it.â
And then the next day?
30 degrees, wind, and maybe even a few snowflakes âď¸
And itâs like⌠wait a second⌠what just happened?
It can feel frustrating⌠even a little defeating.
But I was thinking about this over the weekendâŚ
What if those days are actually a really good reminder for life?
Because life does this too.
You start to feel like you're moving forwardâŚ
Youâre getting into a rhythm, things feel a little lighterâŚ
And then something shiftsâunexpectedlyâand it feels like youâve taken a step backward.
And in those moments, itâs really easy to thinkâŚ
âUgh, I thought I was past this.â
But just like the seasonsâŚ
Progress isnât always a straight line.
Just because winter shows up again⌠doesnât mean spring isnât coming.
It is coming.
Itâs just not always on our timeline.
So instead of getting frustrated on those daysâŚ
What if we planned for them?
What if we actually had a few things in our âback pocketââ
Things we only do when we hit those in-between, off-feeling days?
Almost like little rituals we look forward to.
Maybe itâs:
⢠Making a cozy cup of tea or coffee and giving yourself 10 quiet minutes â Maybe treat yourself to a new mug that makes you feel happy .
⢠Starting some seedlings insideâjust a small reminder that growth is still happening, even if you canât see it outside đą
⢠Sitting down with a notebook and sketching out your garden or summer plans
⢠Pulling out a favorite baking recipe you save just for these daysâthe kind that makes the whole house smell amazing đŞ You could start looking for this recipe right at the end of winter and â Hold Itâ for those days that just seem like winter is never ending.
⢠Decluttering one small spaceâjust one drawer, one shelfâto create a sense of reset
⢠Going for a bundled-up walk and noticing that even in the cold, things are slowly changing
⢠Putting on music and moving your body, even if itâs just for a few minutes
⢠Reaching out to someone who always makes you feel grounded and connected
⢠Or simply giving yourself permission to slow down⌠without guilt
Because those âin-betweenâ days?
Theyâre not wasted days.
Theyâre transition days.
Theyâre reset days.
Theyâre part of the process.
And honestly⌠they might even be the days that prepare us the most for whatâs next.
So today, if it feels like winter snuck back inâ
In the weather⌠or in lifeâŚ
Donât let it throw you off course.
Adjust. Reset. Lean into something small and good.
And remind yourselfâŚ
